I think it's time to get back on some stages and shake the rust off.

For The Breakdown, even though performing our own original music is our ultimate aim, our North Star in recent years has been the classic country and blues music we love so much. There's so much swagger, wit, and soul in those songs and they're a blast to play.

So, this summer, we want to get back to those roots and do a series of gigs highlighting some of our favorite songs in this tradition. After all, what better way to get things rolling again than by going back to the source?! We'll keep you posted as we book some shows.

But, in the meantime, we've started making some recordings to share with you all. Here's the first two and, if I don't say so myself, they're a pretty killer pair!
